We are thrilled to present our very first classical guitar duo program for music from France, Cuba, and Argentina!
Our fantastic musicians Alec Pearson and Luis Angel Medina (the Tangeando Guitar Duo) will showcase the extraordinary range and capability of this familiar instrument.
The two musicians will take us on a musical journey through France and Latin America, introducing us to significant composers who have contributed to the classical guitar repertoire, alongside a familiar favourite from Astor Piazzolla.
This program will be offered in two house concerts, one at UBC (May 24, Friday) and one in Richmond (May 25, Saturday)
Wine and snacks are included in the ticket purchase!
7:00pm : Doors open
7:30pm - 8:30pm: Performance, with brief spoken introductions for each piece
8:30pm - 9:30pm: Mingling over complimentary wine and snacks
